3 people I would love to introduce to you, which may change your life a lil’ bit to the better

After I’ve been travelling for the first time completely alone half around the globe, I’ve realised: Wow. There’s so much knowledge out there. There’s so many people out there who have many–to me– outstanding things to share. Stories, learnings or ways of living that may not be easily accessible for the casual people around me back in Europe. There’s stories or conversations, that made me have some strong realisations and may play a huge role in my further development. This is why I choose to introduce you to some of those people.

3 people I would love to introduce to you, which may change your life

Without judgement or prioritisation, I chose to start my journey with you chronically. Which is on my way to Bali, Indonesia. As a small side story, I’ll give you a better insight into my own WHY. Why Bali? First and foremost, I was basically on a business trip to put some organisational structures in order. Second of all, I am searching. Contradictory what many of you may think (“You achieved so much”, “You graduated amazingly”, “You have such a life full of joy”, …), I am looking for a deeper purpose of life. I reached a point where I know some of my skills and abilities. I know which of them I can transform into money and make a living. So far, so good. But what’s life all about? What’s it about life, to sustain happiness? What’s the story of other people? How do they do it? What’s their approach?

Now you know. With those things in my head, I basically went to Bali for business and had the intense intention of finding some answers. Let’s jump in.

1. Manifestation becomes reality (Mikaella, Soundhealer)

As with every journey, trip or vacation, you firstly need to get there, right? And I got there (to Bali) by a Boeing 777. Walking through the tiny floors of that aircraft, I simultaneously was trying to find my row – row 34. At the moment I reached the right row, I reached my home for the next 9 hours. And this is, where my first learning experience started.

I sat down and a beautiful voice of my seat-neighbour welcomed me, introduced herself and immediately said: I am so grateful that I manifested you. I was answering: What do you mean? She explained to me, that the last time she went to Bali she was sitting in the plane next to a big man who always laid his head on her shoulders during the flight, which was very disturbing to her. This was, why she this time decided to manifest the right seating partner. I asked her: How?  And she said: I meditated right in the morning and told the universe my wish to have a tiny, small, little girl sitting next to me in the aircraft. And, here you are.

Unbelievable story, isn’t it? This gives us just a very small idea of what humans are capable of. If you’re thinking: “It’s a coincidence”, that’s ok. To me, it isn’t. To me, it rather demonstrates the power of our own belief, the power of talking to the universe, God or whatever you want to call it. As many other religion folks have done it in the past, as probably even your grandparent have been speaking out loud their prayers to God, this is a powerful technique that nowadays, in our modern society, partly gets lost.

There’s plenty more things we can take away from that amazing person, named Mikaella. During our conversation where I’ve been telling her about my journey of life and the reasons I’m heading to Bali, she was pointing out very strongly: There’s the logical mind, and there’s the intuition. Our body is having all the answers. We need to learn how to rely on this voice, intuition. The advice doesn’t seem very outstanding or special you may think now. But if you’re taking a moment to evaluate, you may realise: Hell yeah, sometimes my body and my mind say two different things and I tend to follow the logical mind instead of my heart. At least this is how I feel many times. Therefore, as a reminder to myself (and maybe to you): All the answers are in our heart. We need to listen to it carefully. This means: If something doesn’t feel alright, it is not alright. It’s ok to accept it, that a change is needed.. That we reached a point in our life, that may require a decision. End a relationship. Change job. Or re-focus yourself in your leisure activities. Whatever it is that doesn’t serve you, let it go and open yourself up the new beginnings and positive changes.

Taking that thought one step further, Mikaella mentioned repeatedly one very important fact: Every person is different. For some people, carrier is the key to happiness. To other people, good weather and a daily beach walk is the key to happiness. In correspondence to nowadays society, where every single person is stick to their mobile phone in order to follow the latest influencers & copy their style, life & overall appearance, this may be already a huge challenge for each of us.

My opinion about this one is clear: Try do disconnect from this social environment. On a daily basis. Sit down peacefully and without any electronically devices, find out about what really makes you smile, makes you have this shiny energy and pushes you into a state of flow and ecstatic.

2. Goal setting towards the abnormal, utilising our conscious and unconscious minds (SIMON, leader of a charity and boxing trainer)

As the 2nd exceptional person that crossed my path, I want to introduce you to, is Simon. Simon is a man full of visions, dreams and ideas. He grew up in London with a darkish background. Nowadays, he’s running charity projects with training centres in Thailand. We met in Bali in a cheap hostel, and at the first day had some awesome conversations about life and above. His goal? To gather 1 Million people who pay per week 1 $. As soon he collected 4 Million $, he’ll build a water purification plant in Africa and long pipelines to villages. He wants to allow more African citizen to have clean water without needing to walk kilometres each day, whilst only receiving dirty river water. You may ask: Why? His Why is clear: In Africa 5 Million kids are dying every year only due to dirty water. And this goal is above any of his own needs. He prefers not having much money and living cheap and easy, but he’s really striving for the goal of making great things happen.

What can we take away from Simon? At least to me, Simon constitutes a role model when it comes to having a dream. A dream with non-egoistic-behaviour. A role model, for an open mindset, a mindset that reaches far beyond one’s micro cosmos. A mindset with a precise direction into which he puts his energy and power. A clear goal, that’s nurturing passion for life, passion for working hard, a passion to make a change out there.

If you read those lines and think, “wow, yeah, lovely – but that’s not for me”, that’s ok. But what anyone can take away here: Let’s take some moments to define a rough direction of our life. How does this sound to you? What do you want to achieve? What’s your goal? What achievement could you strive for, in order to say at the day you’ll die “Wow, I pushed hard towards my goal and I’m happy with my life, because I know, I have given my best.”

And here comes one very loving comment of Simon: Universe will see all your efforts and will help you come closer to that one goal. Even if your goal now seems unreachable.

You may be critical and think: “No way, my ideas & goals are just unique and I’ll never reach them – except I’ll get rich by accident”? Here’s, what Simon says:

  1. Manifest your dreams and goals. Write them on a piece of paper. Only by writing it down, any dream or thought becomes part of our physical reality and brings you one step closer to achieving your dream.
  2. If you believe in the law of attraction, you set good intentions and put your focus and energy the right way, everything will find its path.

And now, to me, the most profound statement…

  1. There’s a conscious and unconscious mind. The conscious mind is asleep when we see. The unconscious mind stays awake when we sleep. Let’s utilise this knowledge for realising our dreams: If we go to bed and spend the last 10 minutes thinking or writing about the dreams and goals we have in life, our conscious and unconscious mind is focusing on those. As soon as we go to sleep, our conscious mind falls asleep but the unconscious mind stays awake. The unconscious mind is still actively working on finding solutions on how to achieve what we were thinking about before. This knowledge can basically make our dreams come true. Likewise, if we ask for something from the universe before going to sleep, or unconscious mind is working on solutions for what we asked for. The next day, it can happen that we’re having a moment of realisation out of nothing & find some answers or solutions that helps our dream to come true. If we understand this, we understood how life works.

For basing those sayings on literature, Simon recommends the book “Grow rich while you sleep” (click here to get it).

As those learnings weren’t already enough, Simon is regularly as a part of his profession of being a boxing trainer leading fasting events. Via his Instagram channel, he’s sharing his challenges where he’s fasting for either a day, a couple of days or at its best – 13 days. He’s been giving me insights into the powerful effects fasting can have on our body. He had experienced friends and family, who cured cancer in their latest stages due to fasting a severe amount of time. Fasting can help people to cure acne and many more diseases. Hearing those words, he made me really excited to start fasting.

I asked him: How is it best to I start? His answer is easy: Start with only 24 hours and feel the change. Don’t stress yourself. Go with the flow and let your body do what your body is capable of doing.

Now, that’s the two first people with some sincere thoughts, ideals and habits, isn’t it? Let’s go over to the last one.

3. The 100% strategy whilst having the right people around (Mar from e-commerce)

And there is more. A person I, as a 23-year-old woman, find stunningly inspiring. Who? Mar, age of 22, behaviour, attitude and way of thinking as of 30. Whenever you engage with him in a conversation, he’s there 100 %. Whenever you talk with him about a thing, he’s there 100 %. Whenever you’re discussing one topic, he’s showing 100 % dedication, hard work and the ability of striving strictly towards his goal, delivering only the best quality of work towards perfection. But, HOW? He know what he wants and he will do everything to get what he wants.

Besides this crystal-clear learning, everybody can take from Mar, he also inspired me for something else very easy behavioural trait: Set your goals for each day, and then, set one day where you allow yourself a rest. And then rest one day – 100 %.

This guy can really teach us a lot. You may ask yourself now: How do you want to justify, that this guy behaves like a 30 year old guy? My answer: He engages primarily with older guys, up to 55-year-olds, with a lot of experience, success and wisdom.. He found himself within his man-group, where they support each other on a weekly basis. Where they set their weekly goals, share the goals with each other, discuss those goals & define their strategies for their projects. Personally, as well as professionally. As you can tell out of this: They don’t do bullshit. Mar is learning from the best and consequently is giving his best towards perfection.

Let me just give you one example: During my time with him, where we were staying at the same hostel in Bali & spent each evening talking & chatting, he was working on this side-hustle-project: https://www.instagram.com/reel/CjIUyYJjvyH/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=

You think that guy had an idea, sat down in front of a camera and just recorded & uploaded it? You’re somewhat wrong. He worked on that one two full weeks. He firstly worked on the perfect script, he practiced hours and hours his vocal tonality in order to make the point and reach the crowd. He discussed with his brothers & mates how to further improve & become better and better. And no, he did not do all of this to make money. He did it out of his inner desire to spread the message and give the best he can. Could he also have done it within two days, just with a lower quality of output? Hell yes! But that’s not him and not in alignment with his goals.

Only talking about me – I could take a leaf out of his book.

Conclusion

Manifestation, goal setting & always giving 100 % is definitely one way, to enhance our lives. Those things partly seem so obvious, easy and self-explaining. But the real magic lies behind the execution of things.

If those stories are as valuable to you as they are to me, I’m more than happy to read your opinion & feedback! Honestly speaking, I’d have a couple of more people to introduce you to – with some new and different perspectives on how to handle problems, how to regain energy in life and how to find peace within oneself. If you are curious & want me to share more learnings, please give me a hint & I’ll sit down and share even more with you.

With love & only good intentions,

Nicole
